Golf Carts - Rules and Regulations
 
  1. All cart operators must be at least 16 years of age.

  2. All cart operators must register in the Pro Shop before beginning play.

  3. Cart operators are responsible for any and all damages to a leased cart or any other club property. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests while they are operating a cart.

  4. There will be a maximum of two (2) riders per cart.

  5. Carts may be used for playing golf or activities authorized by the Club Professional, Grounds Superintendent, or the Board of Directors.

  6. Cart operators are reminded to exercise extreme caution during wet conditions. Particular attention should be paid to the steep slopes on holes 1, 10, 13, and 17.

  7. Cart operators must observe cart paths and routes that are designated by the Club Professional or Grounds Superintendent.
    a. Carts must remain on cart paths on all par 3's and where the cart paths parallel any other green. Park your cart on the cart path and walk to your ball.
    b. Carts are not to be driven to tee's. (Example:#13 and 14)
    c. Carts are not to be driven behind or to the left of #3, 6, 10, 12, 13, 15,17 and 18 greens, behind #5 green, on the dam on #8 pond, or in the woods to the right of the #12 fairway.

  8. Cart operators with Certified Disabilities
    a. The Club Professional will mark golf carts with a RED FLAG.
    b. Carts must be kept at least 15 feet from all greens.

  9. Carts are not to be parked or driven withing 30 feet of greens (30 feet isapproximately 4 golf cart lengths.) Carts should not be driven on the slopes ofany greens.
    a. All carts signs must be observed. (Note: On occasion the Grounds Superintendent will move the "No carts" and cart directional signs. Be aware of these signs and obey them.)
    b. The Club Professional, Grounds Superintendent, Greens and Grounds, Men's & Ladies Golf Committee Members and the Board of Directors are responsible to ensure that all Cart Rules are adhered to by ALL members and their guests.

  10. The Grounds Superintendent or Club Professional will post a notice outside the Pro Shop when carts may not be used on the course due to adverse conditionsor other regulations may be in effect.

  11. Failure to abide by the above rules will result in warning or suspension of the privilege to operate a golf cart at Bon Air Country Club.
