Rules will be enforced by the Pool Committee and the Board of Directors
1. All bathers must wear bathing suits. Frayed cut-off shorts are prohibited due to the possible clogging of the filters. Wearing of bathing suits in any part of the clubhouse other than the locker rooms is prohibited, including the terrace. Wet bathing suits may not be carried around in the clubhouse.
2. Bottles and glassware are not permitted inside the fenced area.
3. Rough games, horse play, wrestling, etc. are prohibited in and around the pool. Crowded conditions will be a significant factor in determining those activities which may or may not be permitted.
4. No artificial flotation devices shall be permitted in the pool beyond the lifeguard stand. Small children in flotation devices will not be permitted beyond the safety rope. Lifeguards may request the removal of flotation devices when the pool is crowded.
5. Use of the pool is prohibited when there are no lifeguards, or when the “pool closed” sign is posted.
6. Only authorized personnel are permitted to enter the filter room.
7. The throwing of balls, Frisbees, and any other hard objects is prohibited in the pool area. The only exception to this rule is the use of nerf (sponge) balls, which may be used at the discretion of the lifeguard on duty.
8. The following rules concerning the diving board will be strictly enforced:
a. Only one person is permitted on the board at one time.
b. Exiting the pool in the diving area is prohibited.
c. Do not dive until the area is clear.
d. Games of tag, catch, etc. are not permitted in the diving area.
e. Swimmers are not to swim into diving area.
f. The diving board may be closed if crowded conditions exist.
g. Children must be able to swim the width of the pool in order to use the diving board.
9. Chairs and chaises will not be permitted on the concrete apron, except those used by the lifeguards.
10. The wading pool is for use by children five (5) years of age or less. Supervision is required at all times.
11. Guest fees are posted in the Pro Shop and must be paid regardless of the guest age.
12. No member will be allowed more than four guests at any one time during the week or two guests at any one time on weekends and holidays.
13. Houseguests and persons residing as part of the family on a permanent basis are entitled to unlimited use of the pool upon introduction by members to the lifeguard and payment of guest fees. The posted weekly rate shall be paid for those visitors whose stay is longer than a week.
14. All members must sign-in as they enter the pool area. Guests must be registered on the sign-in sheet each day they use the pool. Members will be billed on a monthly basis for guest fees.
15. It is the member’s responsibility to see that all fees are paid and that guests obey all rules.
16. No pets are permitted in the pool area.
17. Children ten (10) and under must be accompanied by an adult, or person fourteen (14) yeas of age or older. This person is responsible for the conduct and supervision of the child.
ALL VIOLATIONS TO THE ABOVE RULES WILL BE REPORTED TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. FIRST TIME OFFENDERS WILL RECEIVE WRITTEN NOTIFICATION FROM THE BOARD. SUBSEQUENT OFFENSES COULD BE SUBJECT TO SUSPENSION OF PRIVILEGES AS DETERMINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. MEMBERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF THEIR GUESTS.
