2019 Junior Golf Programs
Junior Golfers & Parents, we are excited to announce the 2019 Junior Golf Activities at Bon Air Country Club.
This year we will be kicking off the season with an orientation meeting on Wednesday, June 12th followed by our first clinic day on Thursday, June 13th. The orientation will serve as not only an informational meeting but also a rules and regulation seminar for the Junior Players. Our three day camp is scheduled for June 24th – 26th, with each division having separate starting times. Along with the camp the juniors are provided with a refresher clinic on Wednesday, July 17th which will cover additional topics of instruction and help any areas that need improvement. Included in the program are junior play days and the junior championship with a year-end parent/child tournament & awards picnic.
Returning this year is the Junior Academy, this program is recommended for the junior that is interested in playing High School golf or competing locally or even nationally. Areas such as tournament prep, goal identification and golf fitness are part of the curriculum for this program. It’s more competitive and challenging but as always, we strive to make it as enjoyable as we can. Please see the flier below for more information.
Returning in 2019 is the PGA Junior League. A developmental program that adds the element of team match play for more excitement. The program includes 4 – 6 matches with additional practices to help prepare for the matches. PGA Junior League participants will compete against local teams such as Out Door CC, Cool Creek & Hanover CC. The league is for ages 7 – 13 and teams consist of 8 – 14 players. To register for the PGA Junior League please visit PGAJRLEAGUE.COM and create an account, when you are asked for an access code please enter: BACC (all caps). This is a private invitation for members of Bon Air and Junior Golf participants.
Please note that any junior who signs up for the Academy or the Jr League will also be participating in the Bon Air Junior Golf Program and all the clinics, play days and the camp are included.
